I've used TaxSlayer, but I can't remember my login. Do I need to create a new account?
No. If you have used TaxSlayer previously to file your taxes, you will be able to continue using that same account as long as you have access to the email address that is listed on your account. If you don't remember your username and password and your email address has changed, click here for assistance.
If you do not remember your username, please go to our homepage and click “Sign In” on the right side of the page. On the page that comes up, you will need to click the "Forgot Username" link. You can then enter your email address and we will email you all usernames associated with that email address. Once you have your username, go to TaxSlayer and click “Secure Sign In” again. You can then login to your account or, if needed, click "Forgot Password" and it will take you through a process of resetting your password and gaining access to your return information.
If you are confident that you have the correct username but it is not letting you login, it could be the password that is not matching. We have no way to verify your password as this gets encrypted as soon as you create the account. If this is the case, go to TaxSlayer and click "Sign In” on the right side of the page. On the next page, click “Forgot Password". Enter your username and your SSN and click "Next". Answer your security question and click "Next”, and it will take you to a page to reset your password and gain access to your account information.
