Where do I mail my amended return (Form 1040X)?

Mail your return to the Internal Revenue Service Center for the place where you live. Please note: There is no street address. The zip code indicated in the chart below is exclusive to the corresponding IRS processing center. The zip code will identify it as going to the IRS. If you are mailing Form 1040X in response to a notice you received from the IRS, mail it to the address shown on the notice, which may be different than the address in the chart below.
